we are maker's club!
Maker’s Club is a STEAM*-related interest group! We aim to provide a boundary-free space for girls to develop their passions and talents in STEAM fields. We also hope to integrate the arts into STEM for more enriching experiences! :)
We started this club as we realised that many girls are uncomfortable with and avoid STEM due to their lack of knowledge in these areas. We also realised that girls receive fewer opportunities than boys. Nowadays, however, more women are being involved in STEAM-related fields of work or are interested in such projects. Hence, we wanted to support this trend by starting a club of our own to provide girls with the freedom and flexibility to explore STEAM at their own pace!
